Configuration
To properly setup the transfer tool, you'll need at first a Braincube administrator account in order to configure the upload process using Braincube's servers
1 - Onboarding your Braincube Transfer
Follow these steps for onboarding (register) your Braincube Transfer to be ready for file uploading.
- Open for the first time the Braincube Transfer Interface and click on the shortcut menu (see bellow)

- You arrive by default under the monitoring view. To configure your first upload server you need to click on the top right icon to switch under the settings view.

- Select again the
Servertab and after click on Add server to create your first server configuration

- Collapse your server configuration and onboard your application by clicking on Setup Braincube

- A pop up claim you that your default web browser will open soon. Click on Close.

- Enter your braincube administrator credentials and click on Connect

- Select your braincube data arrivals and give a common name to your server configuration

Return back to Braincube Transfer and wait until the setup button display Test connection

If the onboarding fail it will go back to the Setup Braincube button.

Your onboarding is over now. You can test the upload functionnality by clicking on Test Connection

the button change to green if the upload succeed, red if it fails.

Finally by clicking the apply configuration button present in bottom, you'll set the Service to run the configured servers and directories.

2 - Declare source directorie(s) to upload
You can now declare the folder(s) to inspect for files uploading.
To configure a new directory to check click on Source directories tab and click on the Add folder button.

Select the path folder by clicking on the folder icon. (can be a UNC path, not a mapped network drive)

When you are done and want to save your modifications click on Apply configuration.
Additional parameters (for advanced users)
You can expand your directory configuration and discover additional settings for file collecting.

Files To include: Is a wildcard expression to include files from the directoryFiles to exclude: Is a wildcard expression to exclude files from the file researchKeep files in folder: If checked the software keeps files and don't move them (copy instead of moving)Filename prefix: Add a prefix to the filename of each files (from this directory)Include subfolder: If checked Braincube Transfer looks for files in all subfolder recursivlyDirectory Credentials: Fill these credentials to access network shared directories (UNC) or other directory needing additionnal right-accessTarget all server: If checked we send files from this folder to all server(s) registered, else you can select each server individually
Please, while configuring a networked source directory, make sure the credentials you enter are permanent (with your IT), else the process while silently fails whenever the inputed credentials are changed.
3 - Networking & Storage
To manage network settings and storage management click on the Networking and Storage tab.

Limit bandwith: If checked you can limit the upload network bandwith. The limit can be adjust manually by enter the limit in kB/sCompression: Active or not the file compression before sending fileProxy: You can choose a proxy type and associated settings for a factory outgoing proxyStorage Time: Time in hour to keep historical sending files. You can also open directly the storage folder.Log Level: Set Log level (for advanced usage).
Monitoring
Monitoring page are designed to survey and diagnose file uploading.
1 - Server Status

Server status bar have color state that indicate the following states :
- Green : The upload process is active and works well !
- Yellow : Braincube Transfer is having some difficulties for uploading your files (a lot of files are waiting to be sent)
- Red : Braincube Transfer has had en error (recently) while communicating with the configured server (but will continue to try uploading so that whenever the connection works the upload process is resumed)
2 - Files Status

Files status have some informations related to file uploading like :
- The final filename of each file (sended or not)
- The actual state of the file
- waiting : The file has just arrived in the sending flow arrivals
- sent : The file has been sent for every configured server(s)
- removed : The file has been removed from the historical storage
- The modified date of the file (date is UTC based)
- The importation date of the file (date is UTC based)
3 - Logs (for advanced users)
Use log tab information if you search some tricky information of a connectivity problems
